My name is Drew Caldwell, and I’m a graphic designer and graduate of Oregon State University. I have a strong foundation in visual communication, branding, and layout design, developed through both academic work and hands-on professional projects across print and digital media.
I began exploring graphic design in middle school, teaching myself Photoshop and designing graphics for friends. What started as a hobby quickly became something I dedicated much of my free time to—experimenting, refining my skills, and learning through hands-on practice. After taking design classes in high school, I realized that design was something I could turn into a career, combining creativity with problem-solving in a meaningful way.
While going to school, I worked as a graphic designer creating promotional materials for Oregon State University events, gaining experience designing for large audiences and working within real-world timelines. Since graduating, I’ve been working as a graphic designer for a local chain of grocery stores in Southern Oregon, where I create marketing materials and promotional graphics across both print and digital platforms. Graphic design allows me to do work I genuinely enjoy, which motivates me to continually improve, adapt, and grow as a designer.
